Andrea Leesley Joins Design Team at DAAKE

Recent U. of Minnesota Grad Previously Served as Summer Intern

Omaha, NE - Andrea Leesley, a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota, has joined the award-winning visual communications and design firm DAAKE as a junior designer. Leesley plans to build upon what she learned as an intern at DAAKE last summer, initially concentrating her efforts on print and Web design projects.

A 2003 graduate of Millard West High School, Leesley was told of the summer internship by an instructor in Minnesota. "DAAKE has a great reputation among the graphic arts community because the people here and the work they produce are so impressive," she says. "I learned a lot every day during my internship, and I had fun. I liked it so much I moved back to work here."

Leesley majored in graphic design and earned a bachelor of fine arts degree last December. She had begun her college career studying computer engineering but found it too restrictive. "In design, there's no defined set of rules," she says. "I like the opportunity for creativity, and the excitement of discovery along the way."

Greg Daake, the firm's principal and founder, says Leesley is a welcome addition. "Our team and our clients will benefit from her fresh perspective and enthusiasm."

An avid dancer and former dance instructor, in her free time Leesley will coach the dance team at Papillion-LaVista South High School.

Anderson Partners Welcomes New Copywriter

Kerrey Brennan has joined the creative department at Anderson Partners as a copywriter and producer. Brennan adds value for a number of the Anderson Partners' clients, including Gavilon, ConAgra Mills, Godfather's Pizza and Methodist Health System.

"Kerrey brings more to the table than just her experience in writing and production," said Mark Hughes, Anderson Partners president. "She also contributes to the strategy behind the messaging, and the overall concepting of campaigns. In collaboration with the entire creative department, she helps develop advertising that not only satisfies our clients' expectations, but generates real, measurable results."

Brennan graduated from the University of Kansas in 2005 with a degree in journalism, with an emphasis in strategic communications. Previously, she worked for both corporate and independent companies in Omaha, organizing, planning and developing annual advertising from conception to execution, as well as written copy for all forms of media.

Anderon Partners Announces Two New Hires

Annie McCallister and Amanda Beerman have joined the Anderson Partners team. McCallister maintains the daily management of all client projects throughout the agency as traffic coordinator, while Beerman is the company's new administrative assistant and assists with billing, media and production.

McCallister joins Anderson Partners with years of experience in coordinating daily project logistics and managing the workflow for all key agency projects.

Beerman brings a great deal of experience and creativity to Anderson Partners, having previously worked in both administrative support and event planning positions.

"Both Annie and Amanda are strengthening Anderson Partners by providing organization and efficiency for our clients," said Krista Meisinger, chief financial officer at Anderson Partners. "We always strive to exceed our clients' expectations and remain professional in all aspects of those relationships, and both will play a vital role in continuing to do that."

Anderson Partners Announces Promotion Of Dan Swoboda
To Associate Creative Director

Dan Swoboda has been promoted to associate creative director at Anderson Partners Advertising.

Swoboda has worked at Anderson Partners for 11 years, initially as an art director and, for the past eight years, a senior art director. His primary responsibilities consist of concept and brand development, print and web design, and production direction for the agency. As associate creative director, Swoboda will lead the creative department for Anderson Partners' national and local clients.

"Dan's creative contribution to Anderson Partners has played a large role in helping us generate effective advertising," said Mark Hughes, Anderson Partners president and executive creative director. "Over the years, he has developed and perfected the skills necessary to not only deliver, but to now oversee the creation of advertising that produces positive results for our clients. Making him associate creative director was only natural."

Swoboda graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he earned a bachelor's degree in visual communication and design.
