Ever wonder if pro bono work really makes a difference (for you or your clients)? This month AdBites will explore the topic in two parts.
Pro Bono, Part One: OFA’s annual public service campaign. Hear about the dynamic work our committee completed for Partners for Meth Prevention, an organization dedicated to increasing awareness that methamphetamine shatters lives and destroys communities. Check out the campaign at: www.endmeth.info.
Pro Bono, Part Two: Public service advertising, vital to the community. Join public affairs guru Dave Keith as he explains the importance of providing your time and talents to charitable and other worthy organizations. He’ll discuss how pro-bono work benefits non-profits, the community and (believe it or not) your business.
Dave Keith is vice president and senior consultant in marketing, public affairs and institutional advancement of council with Cargill Associates, Inc. His past positions include vice president public affairs with Houston Natural Gas Corporation, senior vice president and general manager of the Houston office of Hill and Knowlton (the world’s largest public relations agency), and vice president of public affairs and assistant to the president at the University of Houston.
It’s an AdBites you won’t want to miss, so RSVP by Thursday, September 14 to Teri at teri@novia.net or 561-6625.
Attend this meeting for your chance to win $100!
To add to the excitement of our club’s centennial year, OFA is randomly giving away a $100 bill at each of our monthly luncheons. Thanks to Proforma Identity Marketing Group for sponsoring our September AdBites $100 for 100.
