Marketing Specialist Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Maintaining email marketing programs
  • Creating and posting content to websites and blogs
  • Manage all social network communications — Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Support updates of marketing pieces to communicate brand message
  • Measurement of marketing and social media initiatives
  • Creation of internal communications and marketing pieces
  • Planning and directing of yearly promotions
  • Writing original marketing copy
  • Basic SEO responsibilities (i.e. link building and onsite optimization)
  • Pricing and ordering gifts for Medical Solutions customers
  • Other duties as assigned and necessary for the growth of the company

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to write copy that engages, educates and fascinates customers
  • Good sense of design
  • Desire to develop professionally in all areas of marketing , advertising and social media
  • Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using a personal computer and application software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Web and social media savvy

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Marketing or related area
  • At least 2-4 years experience in the advertising, communications, graphic design or marketing fields
