Marketing Specialist Job Description
Job Duties:
- Maintaining email marketing programs
- Creating and posting content to websites and blogs
- Manage all social network communications — Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
- Support updates of marketing pieces to communicate brand message
- Measurement of marketing and social media initiatives
- Creation of internal communications and marketing pieces
- Planning and directing of yearly promotions
- Writing original marketing copy
- Basic SEO responsibilities (i.e. link building and onsite optimization)
- Pricing and ordering gifts for Medical Solutions customers
- Other duties as assigned and necessary for the growth of the company
Critical Skills:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to write copy that engages, educates and fascinates customers
- Good sense of design
- Desire to develop professionally in all areas of marketing , advertising and social media
- Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks
- Self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in using a personal computer and application software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Web and social media savvy
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Marketing or related area
- At least 2-4 years experience in the advertising, communications, graphic design or marketing fields
