Marketing Associate
Responsibilities:
· Serve as project coordinator, assisting marketing managers with product-oriented marketing and sales support materials (print, electronic, audio) for Group Protection.
· Work with the Senior Marketing Manager, creative team, compliance and manufacturer partners to ensure all existing materials are maintained and refreshed as market, product development, customer and regulatory needs dictate.
· Help to ensure adherence to project plans.
· Support marketing strategic initiatives.
· Past projects have included working with various divisions within Lincoln on employee-focused products, product materials, and spreadsheets
· Assist the Senior Marketing Manager with the development, design, and implementation of marketing campaigns and product launches for Group Protection.
· Maintain databases to support e-marketing efforts.
· Support sales reps and brokers with various needs, including introductory campaigns and relevant material approval.
· Work with Product Liaisons and Conference Event Planning where needed across Marketing.
· Conduct market research and compile key data.
· Participation in projects on a department level or for senior leadership initiatives.
Requirements:
· BA/BS degree in business or arts and sciences
· Experience in the financial industry and/or Marketing is helpful
· Team Player who operates in a professional manner and works with others towards shared goals
· Excellent written & verbal communication, interpersonal, influence, and organizational skills
· Must be customer focused
· Project oriented and ability to meet deadlines
· Good analytical skills
· Knowledge of or ability to learn multiple industry data reporting systems
· Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Sound judgment and problem solving skills
· Adaptable to change
