Preparing for and Engaging the Latino Customer!
Presenter: Norberto Ayala – Flores,

President, Puente Marketing Communications

Regency Park Lodge
909 S. 107th Ave
11:30 Network and Socialize
12:00 Luncheon begins
OFA Members $25
General Public $30
RSVP by Thursday, September 11, 2008 to Teri at teri@novia.net or 561-6625.

This presentation gives an overview of the size of this market, how it has grown and its impact on the overall U.S. market and marketers. The presentation will provide a snapshot on how the Hispanic market IS NOT one homogenous group rather comprised of many sub-groups who are U.S. born and foreign born. One thing that will be stressed is the role of language and culture as marketers and companies deal with Latinos. The role of language is important but the cultural relevance is even more so. If time permits, a case study will be presented regarding a well-known U.S. general market product category and what U.S. Latinos’ attitudes and opinions were toward it.
