THE WORLD'S LARGEST ADVERTISING COMPETITION

With over 60,000 entries annually, the ADDY Awards are the largest advertising competition in the world!  The ADDY Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world.  The American Advertising Federation conducts the ADDY Awards through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts.  The ADDY Awards are the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.

3-TIER COMPETITION

National
The ADDY Awards are unique among all advertising creative competitions.  It is the only competition that includes three rigorous levels of judging:

• Entries are first judged at the local club level competitions organized by more than 200 ad clubs affiliated with AAF.  The Omaha Federation of Advertising and the Advertising Federation of Lincoln host the Nebraska ADDY Awards annually.
• Local winners then advance to 14 regional competitions.
• Finally, regional winners advance to the national/international finals.

Student ADDY Awards

The AAF Student ADDY Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed specially for college students.  Work entered at the local level (Nebraska ADDY Awards) can move up to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country.  Applicants must be enrolled full-or part-time in an accrdited U.S. educational institution.  Student interns are eligible to enter.

Thirsty for recognition? The 2007-2008 Nebraska ADDY Awards are on the way!

Planning for the 15th annual Nebraska ADDY Awards is well under way.  The call-to-entry posters were mailed in mid-September and the web site is now live at www.nebraskaaddys.org.

The 2007-2008 Nebraska ADDY Awards will be held on Saturday night, February 2, 2008 at the Hilton Omaha (across from the Qwest Center).

The Early Bird Deadline for entries is Wednesday, November 7, 2007 and the Drop Dead Deadline is Wednesday, November 14, 2007.
