Account Supervisor

Job Description

Ervin & Smith Advertising and Public Relations is seeking an Account Supervisor. Must have extensive experience in advertising and marketing and the ability to demonstrate proven results through marketing strategy and execution. The account supervisor will work closely with key clients and internal teams todevelop a strategic framework for all marketing communications, ensure flawless execution, and lead a team to deliver results that meet client goals. Agency experience is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assume leadership position with key clients
  • Guide decision making with strategic insight
  • Develop marketing and communication plans
  • Oversee implementation of approved plans and strategies
  • Ensure all client job parameters are met, including deadlines and estimates
  • Track and analyze marketing progress project results
  • Track the progress of client strategic initiatives and redirect as needed
  • Identify and implement solutions to address client needs
  • Manage senior account executives, account executives and interns
  • Ensure direct reports are held accountable for all job requirements
  • Stay abreast of client and advertising/PR industry changes and trends
  • Provide creative business solutions to all agency clients
  • Develop and review agency/client contracts

 

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Five to seven years of experience in marketing and advertising
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field (marketing/advertising) or equivalent degree with work experience
  • Project management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work and effectively lead in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently on client work with little supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter who is able to work within an entrepreneurial environment
  • Coachable
