OFA is YOUR club and your advocate for a host of advertising industry-related issues. Here are some highlights from our last year of progress:

Celebrated our 100th Anniversary. Hosted the OFA 100 Gala, honored Omaha's Legends of Advertising in our new Legends Hall of Fame and honored the top 10 Omaha Advertising moments from the past 100 years.

Consistently updated club members with OFA's revamped AdMuse newsletter with more attention on spotlighting members and membership moves and shakes in the Omaha advertising community.

Rebuilt the OFA website and developed a membership directory online.

Provided four (4) $1,500 scholarships to deserving students from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Creighton University.

Increased networking and camaraderie opportunities via several special events including OFA AdNights, Ad Wars, and the December Holiday Party.

Sponsored a fulll year of top-quality monthly luncheon programs at AdBites..

Hosted annual meet and greet in Lincoln with State Senators to open communications on advertising related legislative issues.

Staged the 44th annual Meet the Pros event for regional college students, educated and provided mentoring and career guidance to nearly 250 students attending the 2007 event.

Hosted the second annual Grape & Grain fundraiser, which featured wine and beer tasting along with a media auction.

Produced a comprehensive public service campaing for Youth Emergency Services.

2005-2006 Public Service

An award winning public service advertising campaign was developed for Partners For Methamphetamine Prevention. Over $250,000 of agency time and media was donated to the campaign.

Club Achievement

Each year, the American Advertising Federation (AAF) honors top clubs in eight categories: advertising education, communications, diversity, government relations, club management, membership, programs and public service. The Omaha Federation of Advertising was recognized for a high level of club achievement on both the AAF district and national levels.
